The Notebook
"The Notebook" is a romantic drama about two young lovers torn apart by class and war as told through the pages of an old notebook. Although fairly predictible, the film does have a few delightful surprises as well as outstanding performances by Rachel McAdams, Nancy Allen, James Garner, and Gena Rowlands. It is a bittersweet, tear jerker. If you are a sucker for this kind of movie, you will love it. The film has something for the young and the old. You will laugh and you will cry.
