Shall We Dance
A remake of a Japanese movie about a man who spontaneously takes up dance lessons starring Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, and Susan Sarandon.
Alien didn't actually see this movie yet, but sent representatives in my place to the sneak preview.
Chicks said it was a lot funnier than she expected and even her boyfriend liked it.
Boyfriend gives it 2 ½ stars out of 4.
Chicks gives it 3 stars out or 4.

Comments:
Lots of close ups of Richard Gere where you can see the aging sexy heart throb--but he still looks good to some of us. The famous buns of J.Lo were prominently displayed throughout the film (can't see what all the fuss is about; looks almost like a defective part of her body). Gere's dancing left much to be desired, but Stanley Tuchy (sp ?) did a pretty good job, wig and fake teeth, and all. What was refreshing to see, tho', was a family that really cared about each other for a change--no one cheating one the other, sleeping with someone else, etc., etc., etc.
