The Invisible
This is not a sneak preview. This film has already released.
It’s “Ghost” meets “Sixth Sense” in beautiful “Disturbia”. Nick Powell (Justin Chatwin) and Annie Newton (Marganita Levieva) are on different paths when their teenage lives collide. Nick is a bright poet/writer golden boy who knows exactly where he is headed. Annie is an angry troubled delinquent headed nowhere. After a misunderstanding, Nick turns up missing and a search party is launched. Will they find him in time? Who can save him? Will it be Annie, his best friend Pete (Chris Marquette), or Nick, himself? The performances by these young actors are all great. The drama builds and becomes intense as the time for rescue starts to run out. There isn’t very much mystery here, but it still is a fun ride and a guilty pleasure for Alien. Still it will probably play better to a younger crowd.
Alien gives it 3 “lost children who’s lost a parent” stars out of 4.
