The Rocker
In 1986, Robert Fishman (Rainn Wilson) gets dumped (like Pete Best) from his heavy metal rock band Vesuvius, but 20 years later he gets second chance to relive his dreams. This is a small film that nobody heard of, but if you give it a chance, it has a lot of good laughs. Wilson is a talented comedian who dominates this film with his physical slapstick humor. His character pokes fun at the wild rock and roll lifestyle.
Alien gives it 3 “rope-a-dope of the naked drummer” stars out of 4.
