Bridesmaids
What looks like a female version of "The Hangover" should be more accurately called "Maid of Honor". SNL's talented Kristen Wiig finally gets her big starring role break, she had to co-write and co-produce this gem to get it. Wiig proves she can get down and dirty with her sense of humor about female jealousies and insecurities causing wedding party diasters. This very funny film does get a little gross at times. The competition between Wiig's and Rose Byrne's characters is hilarious, but Melissa McCarthy is the big scene stealer.
Alien gives it 3 "best friends forever" stars out of 4.
