The Book of Life (3D)
On a field trip to the museum, school kids get a special tour where they are told about a story from "The Book of Life". Steeped in Mexican traditions about the Day of the Dead honoring ones ancestors, this 3D animated tale involves a bet between two spirits on which boy would win the hand of a girl. Full of funny one liners and family values, the film shows these three good childhood friends grown up and must band together to fight a common enemy. Along the way they learn who they really are. It's a colorful and delightful family film about celebrating your past while looking ahead to your future.
