Alien at the Movies

It's Sunday sermons meets "Crash" when broken people's lives become intertwined on a dark and stormy night. Mira Sorvino, Cybill Shepard, Lee Majors, Sean Astin, and Brian Bosworth star in this Christian film about having faith and believing in God. Of course, it's preachy and contrived but it's also heart-warming and teary-eyed touching. In the movie entertainment industry that tends to push the limits violence and good taste just for bigger box office draw, it is refreshing to find a wholesome family film with such a positive message.
