In 1906, a British officer (Charlie Hunnam) is sent to Bolivia to survey the Amazon. Along the way, his team (including Robert Pattinson) meets many challenges & dangers in the unexplored jungle. Away for years from his devoted wife (Sienna Miller) & son, he returns from his successful expedition with artifacts indicating the possibility of an ancient civilization. This is a fascinating journey into the unknown as one man struggles with issues at home & abroad. He spends additional trips back to the Amazon in search of his lost city of Zed. This is a marvelous period piece will also transport into the beautiful as well as treacherous rain forest.
