In 1851 during the gold rush in the West, Charlie & Eli Sisters (Joaquin Phoenix & John C. Reilly) are brothers & hired gunslingers chasing down people for their boss, The Commodore. This is not your glamorous cowboy western but a gritty & brutal journey from Oregon to California leaving behind a trail of bullet riddled corpses. With authentic looking sets, this buddy film is dialogue driven with loud outbursts of blazing gunfire as the hunters become the hunted & gold fever takes over.
