Habit
When 3 party girls lose their drug pusher’s supply & cash, they decide to hide out as nuns to avoid the wrath of the violent drug lord. This premise sounded like it might be a new spin on “Sister Act”. Unfortunately, it’s not. If it is supposed to be a comedy, but it’s not funny at all. The film feels like it’s trying to be like an edgy Tarantino film, but it’s not by a long shot. It’s just terrible. Bad acting. Seemingly, no written script & the people are just making it up as they go. Cheesy violence. Littered with F-bombs. Sexualizing women. Drug use. Desperately poking fun at faith, Jesus, & Christianity. The runtime is only 81 minutes but it feels like a lot longer. It is so bad that I️ was wondering if it was deliberately trying to bad in a dark comedy sense. Whatever this film is doing it’s not working. Bella Throne plays the lead. What were you thinking, Bella?
