This is the true story of a proud, innovative Black man seizing the moment & fighting against institutionalized racism. In 1971, two oil tankers collided off the San Francisco coast spilling millions of gallons of crude oil & creating an environmental disaster. Bucking the odds, trucking entrepreneur Charlie Walker secured a lucrative contract to clean the Stinson Beach shoreline. He had to work with hippie protesters, local townspeople, news media, & corporate CEOs to successfully achieve his goal through perseverance & keeping one step ahead. This is an inspirational story about a man in an historical event. There is a mid credit clip of the real Charlie Walker along with a summary about the rest of his story.
