Shrek the Third
That lovable ogre and all of your Shrek favorites are back again to fracture more fairy tales as they poke fun at the theater, high school, and parenthood. A quest for a new king and a battle of Fiona’s power princesses versus Prince Charming’s band of merry villains highlight this very funny family film. Punctuated with 70s-80s songs, it’s more story than spoofs. Like its predecessors, it’s good fun for young and old. Puss in Boots and Shrek 2 are still Alien’s favorites, but this third attempt is still worth the price of admission and sure to make big bucks.
Alien gives it 3 “believe in yourself” stars out of 4.
