It’s R2D2 meets “I Am Legend” meets “Mutiny on the Bounty” meets “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” in this animated sci-fi misadventure / love story with a “save the planet” warning. WALLlE (Waste Allocation Load Lifter, Earth-Class) is the little droid that could. Audiences will absolutely adore this resourceful, but lonely character who is looking for companionship. The animation is amazing and will have you mesmerized at the screen. This terrific story unfolds slowly to reveal the world 700 years in the future. Alien feels this wonderful movie favors older viewers and hopes that there are enough “toon” antics for the tiny tots to keep them from getting lost in space.
Alien gives it 3 “Buy ‘N’ Large” stars out of 4.
