Confessions of a Shopaholic
It's "I Love Isla" meets "Financially Redhead" in Jerry Bruckheimer's hilarious comedy about a desirer of designer duds who digs herself deeper in debt. Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fischer) is a compulsive consumer carelessly charging it up her credit cards. Rebecca is trying to break into the fashion world, but she blunders her way into the world of finance instead. She's cute, adorable, and hysterically funny. Her fan dance is a scene stealer. If you are attracted to pretty shiny things that tend to be way over your budget, you'll just love this movie. Shopping addicts will adore this film, but will deny ever being as bad as Rebecca.
Alien gives it 3 ½ "girl in the green scarf" stars out of 4.
