The International
An investigative Interpol agent (Clive Owen) with a past and a Manhattan Assistant District Attorney (Naomi Watts) get tangled up in a multi-continent mystery involving a powerful bank's illegal activities. This is a rather dark international intrigue tale that drags at times as the hero follows the bread crumbs in his obsessive investigation. Alien was less than satisfied as the film concluded, although there were some good suspense and action scenes. The film makers picked some beautiful buildings for their backdrop in Berlin, Milan, New York, and Istanbul.
Alien gives it 2 ½ "gunfight in the Guggenheim" stars out of 4.
