Thor: The Dark World (3D)
Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) are re-united as portals open and the Dark Elves seek Aether and revenge. Tom Hiddleston is terrific as the trickster Loki. The special effects are 3D magnificent. A bearded blond Zachary Levi is unrecognizable. Look for a surprise cameo besides the required Stan Lee appearance. A menacing villain along with some spectacular action tempered by a sense of humor make this Marvel-ous movie an entertaining thrill ride. Stay for the short clips in the middle and at the end of the credits.
Alien gives it 3 ½ "convergence of nine realms" stars out of 4.
