The Foreigner

When his daughter is killed in a IRA claimed bombing in London, a 61-year-old humble restaurant owner Quan (Jackie Chan) seeks answers & justice. Getting no results from the police, Quan turns to former IRA member now British government official Liam Hennessy (Pierce Brosnan) for the names of the bombers. Of course, Quan is a man with some special skills & sets off on a one-man revenge vendetta in this action thriller filled with political intrigue & double-cross. Brosnan is always terrific as we try to guess about his involvement. Chan is still amazing, even at his age, still thrilling us with his remarkable stunts. It's a cat & mouse game as Quan fights to survive in his quest for answers.

Alien gives it 3 "political terrorism" stars out of 4.
