This is the emotional & powerful story of celebrated war correspondent Marie Colvin (Rosamund Pike) who was fearlessly forced her way to the front lines of devastating conflicts to report the untold tragedies of war. Although she hated being in the war zone risking life & limb, she felt compelled to tell the stories of the innocent civilians caught in the middle. She was the voice of the voiceless. This film realistically captures the intensity of battle as you can feel the explosions & ricocheting bullets zipping past this chain smoking hard drinking journalist & her photographer Paul Convoy (Jamie Dornan). Pike is absolutely amazing in her riveting portrayal of this strong woman who sacrifices her personal life to tell other people’s stories. This must see tragic war story is not about the people fighting the war, but it’s about the collateral damage of war.
