Creed II
It’s shades of “Rocky IV” when the son of Apollo Creed squares off against the son of Ivan Drago in the sequel to the 2015 Creed”. With Sylvester Stallone working on the script, this should not come as mush of a surprise. The underdog story is always a crowd favorite. Michael B. Jordan is phenomenal & in amazing shape as Adonis Creed. Stallone plays it perfectly as the the aging Rocky Balboa who offers his young protégé his words of wisdom as only Rocky could utter them. Besides Dolph Lundgren returning as Ivan Drago, look some other familiar faces from the ghosts of Rocky’s past. This film about family poses the question “what are you fighting for?”
Alien gives it 3 “bad blood” stars out of 4.
