This film is based on the true story of American born/French New Wave icon actress Jean Seberg (Kristen Stewart) . In the late 1960s, she became the target of the FBI due to her support of the civil rights movement & her connection to Black Panther activist Hakim Jamal (Anthony Mackie). Her life & career is put in jeopardy when the FBI overreaches with its surveillance & harassment of her. Jack O’Connell, Vince Vaughn, Colm Meaney, & Zazie Beetz are among the terrific supporting cast.
