Dog Man
A short film featuring Mr Wolf & his Bad Guys crew, “Little Lies & Alibis”, is previewed before “Dog Man”. They were having just another one of those days.
Officer Knight & his canine companion Greg are after their nemesis, Petey, an elusive evil cat criminal. However, Petey has left a bomb atop an abandoned building hoping to rid himself of these two law enforcement officers. Knight & Greg are both critically injured. In order to save them, the head of Greg is transplanted on Knight’s body, thus we get Dog Man, Supa Cop. Dog Man continues to pursue Petey & Petey continues his evil missions including the creation of Li’l Petey, Flippy, & 80-HD. It’s a wild animated misadventure for the kiddies with just enough subtle jokes targeted to amuse any accompanying adults. Pet owners may get a chuckle at some of the pet behaviors. This one may be just a bit too slow & long for the short attention spanned ones. In the end, this one is about what makes a family .
Alien gives it 2½ “Do-Gooders” stars out of 4.
