Single dad Jim (Will Ferrel) is always doting on his daughter Jenni. When she becomes engaged, Jim books her wedding at the resort island where he & his wife were married. TV producer Margot (Reese Witherspoon) volunteers to plan her younger sister Neve’s wedding at the island where their dear old Nana used to live. Of course, in this romantic comedy, this tiny island resort mistakenly double booked these two parties. Jim & Margot argue over who should leave but finally agree share the facilities. That’s a big mistake as each try to sabotage the other’s festivities. Weddings are naturally stressful but this double wedding is more than double the chaos fun as each side tries to one up the other. This film’s theme revolves around being a family. Look for Joe Jonas & Peyton Manning in bit parts. Enjoy the hilarious antics & stay for the musical montage during the credits.
